Last Sunday we traveled to the local park for the first egg hunt of the season. We'll have several more over the next few days as we will visit a lot of family this weekend. I love the Easter season not for the bunny though. I love it because of what it represents for me. My savior who died for me, rose again. I am blessed to have an awesome God, and a church family that supports me.
Enjoy your Easter everyone, and I hope you enjoy these images. My church family, I have taken images to Dee from last weekends egg hunt to put on the big screens. Anyone willing to allow me to post them on the blog, let me know, I'd love to share!
I haven't updated you guys in forever! Well part of that is I went to Las Vegas last month for the WPPI convention. I had an awesome experience and met some great people. I also found out about new vendors that I hadn't heard anything about until the convention. One is Tofurious.com. They have some seriously wicked stuff. I plan on getting a lot of the textures, and looking into a few of the services that they offer. If you are a photographer visiting my site, check them out, you'll love what they have to offer!
Besides meeting great people and great new vendors, I fried my brain with new learning. I attended just about every possible class, and then some. Next year the hubby has already stated that he will be attending with me. He will have a great time. I just hope to have more time to visit the sites.
I'm going to be putting some pics up from my time there, one tonight, more to come in the next few days.
We have had the local tv channel's weather staff hopping lately. Sometimes they are oh so wrong, but today, they were right. They were saying 2-4 inches and we got it, along with an early dismissal from school. OH NO, today is a babysitting day, and that means six kidlets around here for the afternoon. I didn't mind the kidlets today, but they were dying to get outside and play in all of the snow. I nixed it because I didn't have extra clothes for one of the extra kidlets and he didn't want to borrow clothes. Sooooo I snapped a couple of indoor shots. I won't post the extra kidlets because, well their mommy is a photog, and she gets the privilage to showcase her own kidlets, not me, as it should be I think!
So since I can't showcase her's you are stuck looking at mine again. I love my big front window, it really gives me a great light to work with. Enjoy!
I did go back out last night, guess what, clouds, so no moon. I did shoot again last night a stock style food shot, but I can't post that because I am using that on a photography forum right now.
So I figured I needed to post something today, and I used my most available, and ready model. We had a ton of fun and I have quite a few pictures, but I'm only uploading one for now. She's so much fun, and growing up WAY too fast!
Enjoy:
So I really haven't kept up with the whole 365 day challenge as I should. I did shoot yesterday, but it was boudoir, and I don't share those here. I didn't shoot Saturday at all, but I did shoot Friday. Multiple shots of the kiddos that come visit me twice a week, and then this:
Hubby was heading off to the store to pick up a couple of things for the family and my eldest wrote the list while we discussed what was needed. Note the last line... Ahh the joys of a teenager!! She loves to harrass her dad, it makes her day.
I haven't shot anything today, maybe I'll break out the camera prior to midnight and add something later, who knows. The lights are still up from yesterday's shoot, of course that meant the little girls were begging to be in front of the camera. I distracted them with a game of "Big Trouble", quality time with mom, and no camera. Maybe another day I'll let them play in front of the camera again.
Oh a thought, the moon I hear is supposed to be big tonight, maybe that will be my subject, hmmmm...
