Why wouldn't it matter, would be my first question! Photographers who take the time and invest in a professional photographer organization are investing in their business. They are investing in learning the latest information in their field. They are also going to bring to you the hottest and latest trends in photography. They are also investing in themselves to become the best photographer they can for their clients.
They are serious about their photography!
I say all of this because first, I think it's an important fact for clients to consider. I also mention it because I am again heading out to WPPI's (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) annual convention in Las Vegas in just over a week. I am very excited about the opportunity to learn from the best in our industry. I want to bring back to my clients the latest tips and tricks, and new ideas for them. When we fail to invest into our businesses and learn the latest trends our photography becomes stagnant. I don't know about you but I don't want pictures that look like they belong to a photographer who hasn't changed their ways in over 20 years. I want my pictures to represent me, and the time that I am in. I don't want my mom's pictures and my senior pictures to have the same look.
I can not wait to share with all of my blog visitors the latest things I've learned. Keep your eyes peeled, I'll be bringing back more than Belagio Pictures this year. I am taking part in a Trash the Dress Session on the strip, now that is reason enough for me to head to Vegas but I know I'll be bringing back so much more than that!
